Sbu Shabalala (BCom) Chairman
Sbu has a Bachelors degree in Commerce and a post-graduate diploma in Financial Information Systems. With 15 years of IT experience behind him, he joined the Adapt IT Group where he gained project management experience in the implementation of financial systems throughout the Illovo Sugar Group, with operations in various African countries.
He is highly knowledgeable in delivering complex IT projects and solutions. Sbu’s business acumen is supplemented by a strong technical ICT knowledge base. |

Scott Bredin (MAFA cum laude) Product Development Director.
Scott has been involved with the design, development and implementation of safety and operations software for the past 13 years. Trained in COBOL and IT project management, Scott started his career as a programmer with AECI Bioproducts in 1998. He was a founder member of ApplyIT in 2000. Since then he has been intimately involved in growing the OpSUITE product and business – first as a lead developer, and later in a consulting and management role. |

Henry Fourie is the Product Development Manager of ApplyIT Pty Ltd, a software company specializing in Safety, Health, Environment and Quality systems. He ensures that all product development work runs in accordance with internal procedures, and that the output is of the highest quality.
Raised in Mpumulanga, Henry Matriculated from High School in 1995, after which he spent 5 years in the United Kingdom, furthering his passion of technology in various industries. At the same time, studying for his BSC Computer Science. Henry continued with his career after returning to South Africa, specializing in Windows Platforms, specifically Internet Technologies. Today Henry has over 13 years of experience in the IT industry, including the Financial, Industrial and commercial sectors. His technological expertise varies from Legacy systems, Non Microsoft platforms, Wireless and Mobile technologies, Internet and traditional Client Server technologies. |

Dave Brennan is the Sales and Client Services manager of ApplyIT Pty Ltd, a software company specializing in Safety, Health, Environment and Quality systems. He manages all sales activities both locally and internationally as well as ensuring the support to these companies is efficient and professional.
Raised in Johannesburg and having 30 years IT experience Dave has worked in Major Financial Institutions and has a B Com and Masters Degree in Banking. Having worked in the management consulting Industry locally and overseas, as well being an e-business advisor for an international Software company Dave has worked in diverse industries most notably Mining and manufacturing. This diverse experience has assisted in ensuring that an in-depth knowledge of the industry and business drivers is understood in providing solutions that meet or exceed client requirements. Ensuring that the solution meets these requirements ensures that long term relationships are forged from both a support and upgrade perspective.

Gavin Halse (BSc Chemical Engineering Cum Laude), Managing Director
Together with AECI Bioproducts Gavin Halse founded ApplyIT (Pty) Ltd, a South African Company specialising in niche solutions relating to operational safety, health, and environment within the manufacturing and mining sectors. Prior to forming ApplyIT Gavin developed his industry skills as a Process Engineer in synthetic fuels, chlor-alkali / plastics and biotechnology. He has been involved in business development initiatives in a number of process industry sectors including Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Biotechnology, Mining and Paper; and led a variety of projects in many different company sizes from a few hundred to many thousand employees. His IT skills were developed in an operations environments and he held the Group IT Manager and CIO role with AECI for several years. He frequently writes articles on the industry and has spoken at several industry events in several countries.
As Managing Director of ApplyIT Gavin’s current responsibilities include leading ApplyIT's business development, Microsoft and Infor partner strategy, and to continue to build and support new technology based solutions relating to safety and plant operations.
